A typical property inspection should take 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. This can vary, given the current condition and size of the home, the accessibility of mechanical systems, and so on. As a courtesy to sellers, we recommend that they be informed of the timeframe in a pre-purchase home inspection situation.
Our home inspectors inspect the major systems of the house. These include the Roof, Exterior, Structure, Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Insulation, and Interior. Our goal is to identify any existing major problems that would affect a typical buyer's decision to purchase.
There are a few factors that will affect the fee. Therefore we suggest that you click the link to book an inspecrion to find the price for your home. If you are comparing home inspection firms, the fee charged should not be the deciding factor unless the level of service offered is identical. Remember, you are considering a major purchase and your choice of home inspector should be based on getting the best value, not just the best price. The price for our service starts at $297. The type, size and age of home are some examples that will affect the price of our service.

Definitely. We encourage you to attend. The inspection is a valuable learning experience for most homebuyers.
You don't have to take notes during the inspection. We will document everything in a written report. It's much better to follow the home inspector through, listening to his comments to make sure you understand. It's also a great opportunity to ask questions and to clarify anything that confuses you.
Absolutely! You may want to bring some questions that you have regarding the home. You should also feel free to stop the inspector and ask questions as you go. If the inspector's comments or explanations are not clear, please ask for clarification.
You should dress comfortably and be prepared to spend roughly 2 1/2 hours walking through the home with the inspector. You won't have to climb on the roof or go into the attic, so your clothes won't get dirty.
We recommend that you not bring your family; this is a technical evaluation, and you will be interacting with the inspector — the fewer distractions, the better.
You do receive a written report. It would be unfair to ask you to remember all of the things we cover during a home inspection. The home inspection report includes a summary of the condition of the home and details on all the major systems of the home. It is delivered within the next day after the inspection, Guaranteed.
No. Our goal is to report on the condition of the house, indicating potential repairs and expenses. Ultimately, it is your decision as to whether or not you buy the house. The home inspection is very important but it is only one piece of the puzzle. Only you know all of the factors at play. Your real estate professional can help you here.
Yes — every full home inspection from Atlas Peak Inspections includes several warranty protections to give you added peace of mind after the inspection. While a home inspection is a professional opinion based on a limited visual examination at the time of inspection, we go a step further by including industry-leading warranty coverage to help protect you once you move in.
Here’s what’s included with your inspection:
5-Year Roof Leak Protection Warranty – Covers repairs for roof leaks that may develop after the inspection.
90-Day Structural and Mechanical Warranty – Protects major structural and mechanical components of the home.
90-Day Mold Growth Warranty – Covers remediation if mold appears that wasn’t visible during the inspection.
SewerGard Protection – Covers repairs for water and sewer line failures from the home to the street.
RecallChek Appliance Report – Identifies any manufacturer recalls on your built-in appliances and alerts you if one occurs later.
These warranties don’t cover every possible defect that may arise after the inspection, but they provide a level of protection not typically offered by most inspection companies. It’s an extra layer of assurance to help you move forward with confidence in your new home.

Our team of inspectors is ready to serve you quickly. However, when the sale of a home is conditional on the results of a home inspection, we recommend that you allow at least two days to arrange for a home inspection.
You can make your payment at the time of booking to ensure your inspection report is released to you as soon as it’s completed. We offer several convenient payment options, including cash, e-transfer, certified cheque, debit, and credit card. Please note that credit card payments include a 2.5% surcharge.

No. Most home inspectors do not provide post-inspection warranties. This added protection is one of the ways Atlas Peak Inspections delivers more value, more confidence, and more support than a standard inspection.
Each warranty includes straightforward instructions for submitting a claim. Your inspection report will include the warranty documents and claim links. If you need help at any point, you can also contact us directly and we’ll guide you through the process.
No. While the warranties provide valuable protection, they do not cover every defect that may occur after your inspection. They are designed to provide support for some of the most common and costly issues, but not all future problems or wear-and-tear.
